Thats a great picture Paul.

Really enjoyed the weekend even though it was like camping in a car wash Saturday night.
Great to get out and spend time at a track, meet like minded people and have a crack.

Managed to fix the bike once home, swapped the cdi and it was alive.

Yes, top weekend and great to meet some new faces as well as the usual posse.

Our tent was nearly away to the mainland on Sat night! Coming from Wales I can't believe I forgot to take a warm hat and even more surprised that I managed to burn my head in the amazing sunshine (or perhaps it was wind chaff).

Local welsh rock band were awesome, if a little too loud for some eh Paul ;)

Track was bang tidy, like a mini version of Phillip Island on a beautiful Welsh headland 8-) I was overwhelmed with how much grip there was, the elevation changes, camber in the corners, all of which inspired so much confidence, even though the wind at times made it difficult to hear which gear you were in & blew you off course on the back straight. The weekend ended on a high with open track session from about 3pm onwards, YAY! so we headed out for a 20 lap thrash then back in for re-fuel and get some feeling back in yer limbs before heading out on track again until all our fuel was gone - happy days!

If your interested my photoCD pics should be at

When I have some time I will stick some gopro footage on youtube.

Cheers
My other ride is another 400, Woohoo!... Doh

Some great pics there Mike, - i am on your case for a few of them lol.

yeah - assuming all bikers like rock, i can't think of anything worse, also being in my mid 40's - give me some uplifting dance music instead.

you were spot on about the track though, it is pretty incredible isn't it ? i think now this is my fav track and looking to book another in the next couple of weeks - anyone else up for this ?

Yes, i am eyeing up the 3rd of July, because the day after in the plop enduro event (c90 endurance race) and worthy of a watch just for the mayhem and carnage that follows.
