Nothing more to say really, if it's been organised it'll be here.

Bike Magazine Trackday Brands Hatch 24th Sept

Post by Zippy » Sat Aug 10, 2013 1:06 pm

I well and truely caught the track riding buzz at the weekend at Cadwell so I've just booked another at Brands full GP circuit. This one is run by MSV on behalf of Bike Magazine.

The rules are you must ride to the track and not use tyre warmers. So theoretically you won't get trackday bikes running with you as nobody wants to lob it and push the bike home.

There's only novice places available now which again suits me as I'm not that quick and I have never ridden round Brands before.

Be good to have some 400 company though so get booking.

It was really good. The full GP circuit is really fast and Paddock Hill bend can be taken so fast it's silly. The track just falls away from you and changes to off camber so quickly.

Might do another one next week but will leave it to the last minute until I've decided.

Glad to hear you had a good time & you were lucky with the weather. If it wasn't for my Italia jaunt I would have joined you. A bit skint now & got to focus on getting my bike fixed. Looking forward to a trip to the Nurburgring next summer & of course Cadwell again.

Cadwell is a must. Highlight of the year bikewise so far.

it was a good day that - but i suggest you come to the next RAF valley event if only to sample tarmac with more grip than you ever thought was possible.
seriously the layout was great and the day was so relaxed. and only 60 quid.
