Weather look reasonable today. Anyone fancy a ride out? I'll be heading out this afternoon.
It don't matter if i'm fixin' it or ridin' it.

I'm at work but should be finishing soon, I was thinking of getting out for a run on my new bike (old bike but new to me).

Might head to Whatstandwell butty van for a bacon cob and mug of tea, and see what bikes are heading up Matlock. I don't tend to go into Matlock as it's full of all the same new bikes. The layby normally has a good flow of classics. (coulple of weeks ago there was a brough superior, Laverda, RC30, and others)

we're meeting at 2:30 then heading to matlock then probably on to high peak. Can meet you at the cob van - is that on the laybay on the left after you've turned onto the A6 after ambergate?

Will do. It was a nice ride, great weather.

And as a bonus we bumped in Laminator with one of his many Bimotas. Stunning example- sorry i didn't get any pictures.

I also don't know if you saw but after we stopped at the carpark, that big guy on the 650 Dakar was wobbling all over the place, looked like he nearly fell on me when I pulled in next to him. Then when he was between me and you he kept trying to pass you but couldn't make it, thought he was going to fall into you the amount of times he had to catch himself!

Yeah. I was conscious he was there clowning around but maybe didn't realise just how close he got! Was a BIG lad wasn't he!
