North West/Debyshire Rideout - Weds 1st July - Cat & Fiddle

Post by billnit » Mon Jun 29, 2009 10:52 pm

OK, who's up for a rideout this Wednesday night for a couple of hours? Seems we have a heatwave on the way this week, so weather is looking good. 8-)

Tired of always defaulting to Southport or Hen and Chickens/Scotch Piper on my own and would be good to meet a few more faces from here.

Initial thought was up to the Ponderosa on the Horseshoe Pass via Llangollen and Ruthin - gives the most time avoiding motorway travel...

Other suggestions welcomed - Merseyside, Wales, Lancs, Cheshire etc...

As for a meetup point, Chester services on the M56 for Ponderosa? Elsewhere for other destinations.

Also while i'm on the subjects of rideouts - went to the Tap at Eastham on the Wirral on Thursday. Still a few bikes (10 or so) there. Good pint, and great views. Anyone been on a Weds? Can imagine it's rammed.....

Looking like the Cat & Fiddle at Buxton now...

Mate of mine is selling his R1 and getting out of biking (again!) for a couple of years, so will be one of his last rides.

Leaving from St Helens at 7ish if anyone wants to join us on the way or up there.

Cheers...

Paul,

Sounds like a plan. Hoping to get out to the Ponder in the next couple of weeks (midweek) weather permitting! Will drop you a line...
