I really liked the Snetterton 300 circuit on the NC30

It does have a long straight but the twisty infield section is ace

Tony, the RVF is fine and was fine last time i used it - the fact is i really get little pleasure from riding a sports bike around track now.
i have no idea why i felt so little enthusiasm riding the RVF and even riding the sports bikes now on the road i seem to take the keys for the little RD or the RC over anything else.
I am of course really going in with both feet (and wallet) on this CR project and honestly it is exciting me to the point of the CRM's and CR take pride of place in the workshop and garage and the sportsbikes are stashed away either in the lockup or relegated to garage corners.

I am hoping to take delivery today of the new Talon gold rims and hubs (identical to the CRM' you have seen) and next week it is booked in with a specialist in the north west for a new gearbox and adjusted ratio's to suit trackdays, squish set, jetted to suit and dyno run.

The AR is being rebuilt as we speak, top end was as new but a new set of rings will freshen it up, however the crank was pretty tired. the generator main bearing was the source of the rumble and saved in the nick of time, however the big end had too much play for my liking so has gone for a rebuild and new rod kit.
So once back i guess i could use that for another few years on track and enjoy that if the CR is a bit hard core for me.

Oddly enough i bought another AR which i may pillage for a few bits, or swop the engines over and bodykit and sell it back on with a fresh rebuilt motor and aftermarket sticker kit. however its nice to have 2 AR's

It's unlikely I'll be able to come now. Have fun though.

I'll be there but I think I'll just do the Friday on track as I'm marshalling Saturday & Sunday. Do we have enough interest to do a block booking?
