Good value couriers

Post by Fluffy » Fri Sep 05, 2008 4:51 pm

noticed that not everyone is aware of these companies, can save you £££ on shipping
bigger items and make them easier to sell by knowing your costs etc

all collect from you, so you dont have to queue up at the PO and they can collect from you
at work too ;)

http://www.senditnow.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
£11-£14 48-24 hour service up to 30kg!

http://www.parcels2go.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
price varies but can be cheaper than send it now for smaller packaged (5kg ish)
also international

http://www.interparcel.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
worth checking for international

hope this helps folks :D
(mod is it worth stickying??)

I've been using Interparcel for shipping bike parts in the UK and overseas and have found them good. They're just brokers really although have their own services. The online quote and booking is ace.Only problem I had was posting a couple of Hi-Fi units but as they 8-) told me - "we don't do "fragile"", still got a refund tho. Yup, can recommend them.

send it now is actually parcel force - but loads cheaper and easier to use, highly recommend use them all the time, 48hr is sometimes 72 though
Vinylmark signs - for all your bike, car, van, vinyl needs, one off tshirts also printed.

I use parcels2go and find them ok. Worth bearing in mind you may have to print your address label out, so have ink in that printer ready to print when you make your order.

As this post has become a sticky, I should say that in the UK, if it's under 2KG, you'll usualy be better off with good old RM. as long as you don't mind waiting in the queue at the Post Office that is. I don't, as I can chat up the tasty Russian girl behind the counter. 8-)

Online calculator is spot on:-

Used to use these services a LOT over the past few years.

Never had any problems with Senditquick.com or interparcel.com.

I didn't have any problems with parcel2go either until I had a failed collection. Trying to re-arrange a collection or jsut get your money back is extremely difficult and it took me 2 months to do so. The scamming b4stards. Do not use them, their customer service is absolutely dire. Try google their name and some expletives and you'll come up with a lot of hits.
