Calipers rebuilt with new seals etc and fitted - happy with how they look! Just waiting on new braided lines to suit now. Interestingly decided to weigh them in comparison to the original NC30 ones I had powdercoated, since I had the scales to hand in the kitchen... (may be of interest for racing enthusiasts). The CBR900 ones are slightly lighter however the requirement for the fitting bracket and extra bolts means overall they will probably weigh about 50-75grams more per caliper although I'm not sure exactly how much bolts weigh...

I've dropped my BMW shock off for the spring to be changed to a heavier one. The heavier spring I've purchased is a lot thicker than the original one therefore I'm convinced it's going to foul the swingarm :(... I might end up putting the original one back in for now...

Cheers, since I've already bought the BMW shock and the custom spring, which wasn't cheap... I don't want to be buying another new shock for sure!

I had a company manufacture me a set of Ti pistons for these calipers. Have not fitted yet but they look the business. They are Ti-n coated as well. Some might think a waste but I plan on keeping the brakes for a long time.

Overall very pleased with the finish but I'm pretty concerned about the lugs / mounts as they seem to be pretty wonky and offset etc. As an example, look at the photo of the inside of the main front fairing - the mounts aren't even close to being symmetrical... Can't wait to get them on the bike now even though its probably going to be a nightmare job! Just a few bits left to do on the bike now including sorting the rear shock, re-fitting carbs, connect up some of the electrical stuff, fit new front brake lines, bleed the brakes, paint front indicators white and then put the fairings on!

these nose cones are a slightly different shape than oem and the mounts are in different places. also the lugs are tiny! clearly why so many people end up cable tying that shut line together. to be honest i really dont like those tank covers, id have the original tank repainted to match instead personally. id also bond the two rear panels and H piece together as one, because they never fit together without a gap. good luck with the fitting, im interested to see your progress :D

I'm glad it's not just me with the gold wheels thing - I think they work well with most of the Honda colour schemes..

Well I haven't had much time to crack on with the bike at the min! The tail piece fits ok however.... after putting the tank cover on, the additional thickness of it on top of the tank means that where the tail piece fits around the tank, it just doesnt fit unfortunately. I'm dropping the tank off with a relative this weekend who is painting it free of charge other than paint / material costs etc! Although I will of course be giving him a few quid... It does look exciting though with the panels offered up I will see if I can get a pic up of it in its current state!
