So right now i'm still in nicaragua, about twenty minutes north of the border of costa rica. I've found a lovely beach town and even had a few surfing lessons before realising i'm crap so will stick to swimming!

I've made a possibly hazardous choice that i am going to ride through colombia too. So once i reach panama i need to sort out getting around the darien gap. Originally i was going to fly me and the bike to quito in ecuador. But i've now got a deposited booking on a catamaren that leaves panama and spends five days visitng small islands in the outer bays before arriving in cali, colombia.

That leaves in two weeks so i have plenty of time to enjoy the beach, see costa rica and the panama canal before i begin the final leg of this trip, south america  I'll keep this updated guys and keep snapping away at those photos as best i can

yeah, normally cable tie the front brake on to stop it rolling off. Twigs make great prop stands dont they!!

You think thats good i should post some of what i use to change a front puncture. Imagine a home made winch using rope and bungees around a branch. Or just gently lay the bike over. All good fun.

I'm not sure, i think too many photos maybe an overload of the senses for some

As far as home is concerned i dont need to think about that yet.

The only plans at home are to get a nice rsv and create a very very lightweight nc30 to compensate for my fat ass. Until then...... bring on the trumpets!!!!!

Like everyone else on here, I'm also following your BIG adventure and do wish you good health and lots of luck to see you through it!!!
I cannot tell you how much I wish I was out there too; most of us dream of such feats, but it somehow never materialises... More power to ya m'lad! :worthy:

Will you be visiting that BIG mass of land in south America called Brazil? That's the only country down there I've visited so far, but can say it's well a worth visit; beautiful country, beautiful people, good food and great weather (though it's not quite the right season for that right now)!

Keep us posted and please do go nuts with the camera, I'd also love to see all the photos! 8-)
When the mind is relaxed, the body will go faster! 8-)

Wow, that sounds amazing - good luck and i hope you have a great trip - stick some photos on here if you get the chance between seeing some amazing sites and places and having a (probably) sore arse from that thing.

Have fun!
