Into Peru then, immediately the weather warmed up, the roads are deserted in the northern parts, stop in a sweet beach town called mancora and fa bed in a bamboo hut! perfect!

From here to lima its desert and empty highways broken by nights in quiet beach towns, some parades and a few ruins

I was really surprised just how desolate northern peru was, the desert would stretch as far as the eye could see and the roads would be dead straight for very long periods.

So as i mentioned earlier i arrived in Lima, found a nice hostel and had a day fixing the bike back up, the dependable old thing is still running strong. I've had a few days relaxing enjoying a big city after the poverty strewn areas i've just come through. I have itchy feet again so tomorrow i push on down towards the nasca lines for a plane ride. Then a short hop over the andes towards machuu pichu. Lots still to do then!

Obviously hope you enjoy and comment on my progress. Had a few tonight and they do very nice sized beers here. I still enjoy a beer and even found some english IPA! Cheers everyone looking at the photo my heads gonna be sore later!!
