Ah yes...I hadn't paid attention to the profile, just the make. Does look a bit cumbersome!

I still maintain that front tyre needs changing first mind. It's ancient and wasn't exactly that great in it's day either.

Personally and this is my personal opinion I'd throw both those tyres in the skip before i injured myself or someone else.

It's a Michelin Macadam 90 I think. Can just make out the Macadam on the side. Hope it's not a Macadam 50, otherwise you've a cross-ply on the front and radial on the back!! (I'm assuming you shouldn't mix the two types, same as on a car).

Even if it's the radial Mac 90, it's still not really suited for a litte 400. They were designed for big sports tourers and commuters and weren't a very good tyre 15 years ago.

What's the date of manufacture? It should be on the side of the tyre in a 4 digit code.

Come on own up who sold it to him? lol

Ive got a BT090 you can have for postage if you want, to be honest i was going to throw it but its better than what you got on there. Still supple and a little bit of wear left on it, please get a matching rear though.

Ersan. If you're skint then I'll pay the postage on the tyre Drunkn Munky has offered you if it helps you out.
