okay problem solved... changed CDI and now the bike starts... i dont know why the CDI just broke like that.. possible when the bike was left outside, rain over time buggered it up.

Sell your bike to someone on here who wants it and never go back.
By the sounds of it you have one that is plagued get rid of it.
Also dont expect to make your money back, consider it lost.

changing of the CDI also fixed the brake light issue. and the bike hasnt jammed for 3 days.....

I can't believe there can be any link between a dodgy brake light, dodgy starter and the ignition box.... surely?

well, i dont know but, it seems to have fixed the rear brake light and sparking for sure.

more like a dodgey connection between the loom and the break light and faffing around with the igition box has fixed it.

+1 for neo, still does not explain why the jamming problem has gone away. How would rain water get into the ignition unit?

easily. im using the crappy k con tail unit. the pillion seat has a gap. and the cdi is right under there. so possible that way.
