can anyone help with restrictor kit installation? NC30

okay, so i bought restrictor washer kit from ebay for 10 quid. but they have oval holes on the top part of the washer. some that ive seen has a inner ciricle in the middle. so i dont know if this one requires a diffrent way of installing it. here is the picture of the kit. could anyone give me intructions on how to install these?

the person i bought from said he used them on his vfr 400 nc30... :\

He probably did, but then the previous owner of my bike did all kind of horrible things to it... :grin:

Look up 'porndoguk' on here- he is fabricating correct washers now.

has anyone done this? can it be done? i feel more at ease if i know there is something to indicate how much fuel i have left. if anyone has any source on fitting a fuel gague please do tell :). i have seen one other guy fitting a cbr125 fuel sensor in it...but he hasnt showed installing the gauge..and where to plug the power connector for the fuel sensor etc. :\

More hassle than it's worth. Just run it till it dies and switch to reserve. You'll learn to do it on the move soon enough.

there is a tap on the right hand side of the bike, where the gap in your seat fairing is. there three positions, On, Off and Reserve.
the tap itself should have writing on it to tell you what position its at.

aaah thats what that thing is :D cheers.

ok so if its set to off its on normal fuel..if its set to reserve its on reserve..what happens if its set to on? :D

oh yeah and. i forgot to mention, i cant seem to get the bloody fuel cap opened :D. i know it sounds stupid but. the key wont even go in all the way, atleast i dont think it does. and it turns abit not all the way...anyone help me with this? ive tried wd40 in the lock mechanism but its still no use.
