My 1993 NC30 progress and upgrades

Post by TURK122 » Tue Feb 28, 2017 10:53 am

So I thought I'd start a thread about my NC30. I got it from a from member last week and I'm over the moon with it. I have posted some pictures and asked some questions on other parts of the forum, but from now on any updates will be in this thread.
It's a 1993 Japanese inport and was first registered in the UK in 2004.
It's done aprox 33000 kilometres.

It's been painted in the Honda sp1 colour scheme. Looking at the sticker on the tool tray under the rear seat I believe it was originally the black type 7 as below

Some pictures of the bike as it now.

It's has the 17 inch rvf rear wheel

Loads of carbon bits and the exhaust from the rvf 400.

Thanks

Looks good the rvf system lets things down a bit with the scrape though are you going to get it sorted ?
Other than that looks like youve bagged a decent bike with sensible mods done.

Thanks dynamohum
Yep I plan to sort that and do other bits and pieces as well. But for now I'm just going to ride it.
I'll be collecting all the bits I want when they come up for sale and fit them over the winter.
Thanks
Turk

Been out on it today and it didn't go all that well. Posed a help thread and will be looking in to the revving problems and reading up on setting the idle correctly.

Tested the rec/reg today and yes it's fooooked.
Just ordered a working used one from eBay to get me going and I'll be looking in to modifying a beefier more modern non shunt type from something like a yam r1.
