Well I hope one day it looks great. I think posting it on the forum will push me to get it done sooner.
As for the dimensions, yes they certainly are. I used Solidworks to check the travel and map the rising rate and it all looks very accurate.

Engine Stuff:
If I won the lottery I would fit a Rotrex supercharger but wouldn't we all? Anyway back to reality. I pulled the motor apart and the damn thing is like new. Behold ye mighty and despair:

Sometime earlier I did a little work on the exhaust while the engine was still in the frame.

Got the muffler tubes from the UK. They fit under the sump which is why they are so small.

Also did this earlier. First the pump to engine.

Then the engine to radiator pipe had to be reversed for the underseat radiator. Cut, mess about, weld etc.

I had them both zinc plated but now I am thinking I will paint them.

The Seat:
I did this a long time ago on a wrecked 1WG that I have, but it gives an idea of how the finished part will look. It is made from an R7 seat that I bought from Europe. They are unbelievably wide and you can see in the images how much I cut it up. I will probably add some vents to it and merge the front with the tank.

Cerakote I like.
So I finally got to make a start on the engine painting. Colour for the head, cylinder block and cases will be aluminium and the covers will be, you guessed it, titanium. Decided to do a test on the sprocket cover. I am not much of a spray painter but I spent long hours on preparation. Totally happy with the result. I am going to do the crankcase bolts this colour too so I painted one to see how it looks. Aluminium will arrive this week so I will paint the cylinder block, flex-hone and store. Then start work on the head and cases.

Looking really nice, Blair.
I think that fuse box deserves automatic reset circuit breakers, instead of normal fuses... but you will probably need the taller case version.

Thanks for the kind comments, i have already cut down the oil pump drive shaft to the water pump, you can also remove the rubber coating from the gear (to save all the weight!) :whistle:

Thanks fourfingers, nice looking parts. I have thought about those but have not got around to chasing all those little bits and pieces. It will be a happy day when I get to do the wiring harness.

@ joshua102 Where is the rubber? I didn't notice it. I haven't bought a controller for the pump yet. Seems it is Davies-Craig (way over priced) or BDK and not much in between. I am thinking of investigating the circuitry and making my own.
