Re: Sniffing fumes
Its been over a year now since last looked at this bike so thought its about time i did something with it, this is it when i first got it home,
Bit of a mess but it was only on our roads for less than a year before being wrote off and left in a garage so corrosion is very minimal Back wheel has a buckle and the motor needs checking over so first job was to remove the wheels to be straightened/refurbed in red and get the motor out.

Re: Sniffing fumes
Change the gear oil put some fresh premix in and start it, will be fine.
They run roller bearing and nicosil liners so no problem, ive got RGV barrels with the pistons just sat in them on a shelf in the shed and they look the same as when I put them there 12 years ago.
If the mains are shot it will rumble.

I wanna give it a scrub and soda blast it anyway so it was coming out regardless

Sorted that them mate!
There's naff all in them 2ts anyways so you can have it rebuilt and back in, in a day.
Worst thing with them nsr's is the power valve, they seem to always lock up and only open halfway.

Cool I need to add that to my list of parts I need to replace. Mine are on there but are cracked and broken. I was thinking of making them out of an old ice cream tub or some other plastic. But carbon/Kevlar look cooler lol
