Been putting this job off for a while but it's done now.
Subframe and fittings blasted and zinc coated.
All bolted up

Very nice, any particular reason for plating the subframe?

Cheers. Easier than painting it and cheaper than powdercoat.
And it's shiney

Fork bottoms are back from being blasted and xylan coated (not the inside).
It's resistant to wear, corrosion, friction and hydraulic fluids apparently.
Just need to get the stanchions now, want to get the RO spring upgrade but money is a bit tight atm.

Now they are just stunning. I'm definitely going to follow suit with my forks.

Finally got round to fitting the new stanchions to the fork bottoms.
All done and sealed up, now stood up to cure before I build the rest up.

After getting back from the TT I was full of enthusiasm to get something done on the bikes.
So this happened.
Got the new seals driven in.
Cleaned up the cartridges, with new copper crush washers.
Filled with new oil.
And all torqued up to the yokes with the clip ons.
