Sprayed up the the rad's and fitted them into place, although most of the mountings are either missing, or the bolts are snapped off in the frame!
Mounted the HRC overflow bottle, found some pipe and put the cooling system together.
What is the general attitude regarding the Chinese radiators? are they worth £100?

I'm now going to tidy up my workshop :-)

Honestly Tom I think 100 is a bit much for them rads as on ebay they have the stainless ones with 40% extra cooling like rick olivers with a free set of silicone hoses for 149.50 from g.p.i racing just so you know for your next nc30 build mate I have been in touch with them and they do whatever colour hoses you want if you want to go black to be original but better... I have a set of both.

They're £100. You get what you pay for. Good value and they get the job done but far from perfect quality.

Rick Oliver rads are very nice and the price reflects it.

Does anyone have a link for the stainless ones? all I can find are the ally ones.
I will be putting the silicone hoses and rad kit on my next NC30/35 'frame up' project, but was just considering the Chinese stuff if it is actually an upgrade over standard rads, or false economy for this race rep?

Not going to be much going on this next week, I'm saving some cash up to take the tank and fender to get sprayed and sticker'd along with the replica race fairing next weekend, and I'm collecting parts for the next bike :-)

I'm waiting on the powder coater to give me a ring back when he has finished my rear frame and wheels, so I can get the loom in and finished, bike running, and get some rubber on the sexy new wheels!

Don't know how to post the link Tom but here is the ebay item number just go on there and contact the seller and ask for the black hoses or whatever colour you want and they reply within 24 hrs mate....

280763118331

They work out at 100 pounds for the rads and 45 pounds for the hoses...

I think these are very nice and there is a thread on here about them also webby16 or dave round the corner from me has them for his repsol vfr .. (the lad you swapped the hoses with when you came to do my wheel conversion , good luck with the bikes mate (Quality work..)..

Wasn't saying anything bad about rick o's rads they are top quality, just saying that these rads look similar and are claimed to have the same 40% better cooling capacity but are a lot cheaper for those on a tighter budget... So apologies to Rick if it sounded that way cos Ricks parts are awesome quality and I would never say otherwise as he is a top bloke..

fitted chinese rads to my bike the other day very pleased with them! good quality in my opinion. would definitely recommend them! like chuckles said great if a budget is tight! as we all know rick olivers products are top notch and second to none! but these chinese rads like i said are very good! no more worrying abour overheating at a stand still!

how can you beat £100 for high capacity rads!
