RVF RT Suzuka build
I took ownership of this RVF project this week
Brought on a whim after a period of trying to like the VFR Its not that i dont like the VFR, i do but its just not a RVF. I wont bang on about why here its been done to death already and we all have our favourite and this is mine .
It was cheap and even came delivered, in the back of a car i kid you not, top man paul . I had my reservations but it was a cheap project after all and i didnt expect much. Paul mentioned the clocks being low mileage i and reckon it is. Still has both original honda sprockets and pretty much everything that is still on the bike is unmolested.
Dont see one of those very often, unless your names kris
Plan was to reframe it refurbing parts on the way but ive attacked with the degreaser and covered it in ACF50 and its come up a treat. The frame is in great condition bar a small scratch and a broken fairing mount which isnt used by the silhouette fairings ive got for it anyway so its staying as it is. Ive got some nice touches planned for it which have been influenced by the proper bike

Its like a balloon. The muppet that owned it before paul sprayed the rear wheel orange, not too bad you might think but the inbred did it with the wheel still on the bike and covered the swingarm!

Re: RVF RT Suzuka build
The very man.
This one will be finished in double quick time, i need a few bits from rick O and the rest of it i already have so just need to sell the NC30 and i might have enough to finish the trackbike too

Tony, no mather if it is an NC30 or an NC35...at least your staying with the nice little V4's!
Good project base you have purchased. That bike of Stephen looks I hope to finish my NC35 one day...but some circumstances private life means it is a slow project at the moment.
Hope to be able to follow this new project on here. Knowing you it will be something different under it's skin

Re: RVF RT Suzuka build
There maybe a u turn on the colour scheme choice, finally received a back to back photo from CMD of their decal set against an original RT and the blue is to light and the RVF logo doesnt look right either. Short from ordering OEM decals from honda which i aint doing im not sure what to do now, i want an RT but its gota look OEM and not like some chinese copy. Anyone know any good decal makers likely to be able to do a better job?
