Re: Svedberg's RVF Race bike
Hi Luis!
Very nice work! It will serve excellently as a base to make my airbox! I'll have to modify the rear part a bit to make a tight seal against the tank dummy tomake the airbox complete, but that's not as intense as your shaping of the lower part for sure.
Some other progress being made here:
The moulds for the carbon seat/tank thingy are now almost 100% finished, just some small polishing and a lot of thinking (about the lay-up/bagging job) left to do. I am making the paper templates for cutting the different carbon and kevlar cloths into correct shapes, and stocking up on a few sizes of carbon and kevlar tapes and braids as well.
Also, after years and years of waiting, my employer finally sent me off to a quick CNC training, which gives me a world of new opportunities in the machine shop! My TB:s are being finished on the CNC mill, and this is a big help for sure, as the shaving off of surplus material would've been tricky business on the manual mill. Takes some getting used to to make the NC programmes, but it's big fun to just sit back and enjoy the Haas doing its job afterwards!

Hehe...you need to grasp the full concept of the word "SLOW", mate! It pretty much describes everything happening over here at the moment. My 2-year old daughter couldn't care less about bikes, and right now, she's the one in charge.
Maybe in a month or so the first one will see the light of day.

This photo has bothered me since you first posted it. I couldn't understand why you had so many bicycle inner tubes hanging from the kitchen ceiling. I've only just worked out that it's your kitchen candelabra
Too spensiff!!!
