A long time on the wanted list, so finally I bought and collected this (very early xmas gift)
...photobucket
Need to find (more) time next year for all the work I have to do, now includes electronics and programming etc. I am tossing with the idea to start fully from scratch with the project RVF bike (rebuild). Before taking a plunge I'll first focus on the new housing and everything related, then in the spring I'll start with the mancave furnish and then the rest towards summer, all with joy.

That's a very nice dash , I've got the aim mychron 3 which is much much cheaper but it gives a lovely clear reading when running.

Nice part Jason. If you need help with a loom or to config the mxl, i can help you. First i would not use the aim temp-sensor. You can use a bosch one.
For speed and the calculated gear with neutral. Buy a special rear disk and put the sensor on rear wheel speed. Then you can calculate the gears on a stand. You do not have to drive two laps on a track or street.
Here you see the disk.
You can order the disk for 70.-€

Good advice from Michael.
So I now have ordered through him the rear disc as pictured above. Already ordered a Bosch temp sensor and AEM oil pressure sensor. I expect these will be soon here. Now need to plan a day trip to Michael's place to build loom and program AIM on my bike, hopefully we can meet in between Xmas and year end.

Today I took my bike to Michael's place and we started to work on the loom, sensors and dash. Although the dash now works (thanks Michael ) we need more time to fit the AEM sensor oil pressure good on the engine and to program all the sensors in perfect order. More updates will follow on Saturday.
