RVF Endurance AM-PM Replica build
Started putting the bike together the last couple of weeks and most parts have arrived now so heres little progress of the build. Hopefully have this on the road in a month and paintwork done soon after.
Engine, RLR stage 3 will be running ram air and lightweight G-Force genni
Frame was mirror polished and painted black around the headstock and frame mount, didnt like the finish so stripped the paint off and took the shine off the polished spars with a scotchpad soaked in ally cleaner, gives a nice brushed look.
Ally rear subframe and catch tank
Catch tank was a bargin off ebay and just needed the bracket heated up and bent to shape, then fixed with a nice TI bolt

Re: RVF Endurance AM-PM Replica build
Front end is back on so went about cutting the front mudguard endurance style
Needs a little feltling but doesnt look a million miles different than the silhouette part

Re: RVF Endurance AM-PM Replica build
Cheers spike, i may cut the rear down aswell as per the HRC manual. The top outlet on the catch tank is just going to vent to atmosphere and the bottom will be fitted with a drain plug. I remember a NC on here a while back that had extra venting to a catch tank, 1 from under the tank and 1 from the oil filler aswell by the looks of it, think the guys name was craig??? very trick trackbike.
Ive just ordered a ACEWELL dash to use as a speedo and keeping the scitsu gauges so that and all the other goodies will be going on once ive cleaned and fitted the pipes, shite job i hate it
Thanks to bridgey i have pics of every angle and sponsor decal of the am-pm bike so i will forever live in shame if this doesnt turn out spot on.
A litter teaser of what im aiming for for those that dont know

Re: RVF Endurance AM-PM Replica build
Are you going to use the pvm's or are you still going to buy the magteks off nc30v for authenticity
Another build to look forward too.

Re: RVF Endurance AM-PM Replica build
I'll be using the PVM's, unless those magteks come up for sale very soon the money will be spent elsewhere. I really wasn't sure on the 3 spoke pvm's at first but they've grown on me and I love em know.

Re: RVF Endurance AM-PM Replica build
Tony, I will be following this thread for the rebuild of the already nice RVF into a trick RVF Endurance AM-PM!
Love to see the result, so in the meanwhile more pictures please.
(and yes, that is correct! More titanium candy stuff needed on that bike of yours) Will be truly awesome.
