Banoffee's NC30

Picked this up recently, now in quite a few bits

Image

It's going to be my runabout and probably occasional track bike (not done a track day in ages due to health, would love to do a couple more next year).

Found that the battery was the wrong type (really tiny), the earth was bodged, the fairing needs a few small repairs and that it's crying out for a service. An interesting selection of various bolts holding the panels on too, not to mention original 20yr old brake hoses that visibly bulge

The following are now on order...

Speedo overlay
Reg/rec
Battery
Plugs
Pads all round
Goodridge all round
Oil and air filters
Airbox breather filter
Top yoke plug
Stand rubber thing
Seat lock bracket
All the fairing and seat unit screws

Oh, and will get some fresh oil of course and some new mirrors.

Should be a nice tidy little bike when done

Thanks. The list grows...

Derestriction thingy
Earth upgrade
New alternator and gasket

Bike is now properly clean so working on it is much more pleasant, just waiting for all the bits to arrive

Fairing now repaired, t-cutted and polished. Carbs cleaned and new reg/rec and battery (waiting on alternator and gasket), new battery, plugs, air filter sorted. Oil+filter after the alternator job. New pads are in and Goodridge is on order as is an earthing upgrade kit and a derestrictor thingy from Rick Oliver. Also spent a rude amount on genuine fairing screws as random ones annoy me after a while, especially when taking it apart.

Coming together and has cleaned up to look better than I thought

just as a matter of interest, what plate is that on ? F or G ?
Not that it matters but if your going for the right look, then you may want to give your fork lowers a coat of silver paint. early imports in your colours came with silver forks and your gold calipers, UK bikes in the dark grey colour with black calipers.
I know its fuck all, but it looks lovely and would finish it off
