Something is moving in the right way. I add some pictures of the VF500F fuel pump support welding on the modified Cagiva Mito rear frame. I had to build them myself to locate the pump under the left side of the rear tail. I then create the ones for the main relay on the right side and those for the battery holder. I also have to drill the frame to put the threaded inserts to hold the rectifier. After that I'll have the coils' supports laser cut to fit them on the block the way they are fitted on racing rcs, infact they won't fit anymore to their original place under the tank because of the presence of the petcock. This will help to get centralized masses.

I also have relocated the lower rad 1,5 centimeters down to get clearance with the front head cover. I have cut the water hoses and add two aluminum hose joints that will be replaced by machined ones. I expect to get the bike turning towards the end of november. If everything will be working I then Shall have it stripped down for the final frame painting. It will start the most exciting part of the job to do the final assembling of the the cycling and mechanical part.

I'm after front and rear tank grommets and if someone get a brocken frame I'm interested in the front tank support. So if someone want to cut it for me, please send me a private message.

The tank has been cut just to see what's inside...and while I did it I took advantage to fix dents and spots. I'm also considering to move the petcock to avoid interferences with the coils, but I'll probably put them on the cranckase the way they did on the racing rc30 machining conductive aluminum supports. here is a first step in the fuel pump support creation. It fits just under the left side of the seat.

Just to remember how great is the view from mountains few minutes away from my house, and checking if my imgbb account works..
Looks lovely there - where is it?
Sorry I had lost your post. This is the view from the Val Cavallina valley towards Orobie Alps (Presolana mountain) in the middle of the Lombardy. It's a very nice place with lakes and mountains. A little trafficated valley less than 1 hour far from Milan in the province of Bergamo (the city of Atalanta football club). We have a language with a lot of german, spanish and latin words. It's very very difficult to speak it correctly because of the pronounce of complex words coming from celtic wide influences melted with germanic lenguages that are pronounced with tonal fluctuation that make a person from Bergamo immediately recognizeble even when speaking italian. Thas's it, funny , but I'm proud of it.

May be that good news are coming soon. Weldings are almost finished, so the final frame painting will be the next step. I have also found a cheap on line machining service for the flywheel cover, so the next month... key on to see if everything is working and to define the correct carburation and carbs alignment.

Not our choice, I guess Paul doesn't see it as viable any more due to lack of activity.
