Yes ^^^all that, except I take the mould from the outside of the fairing or make the repair from inside.


I taped the fairing down so I dont need to hold it

This gives a cleaner finish so less sanding


I painted the tank at the same time but had it lacquered by a spray shop

Great Stuff Plastex and a great write up. Got a few seat units to repair so really must give it a go again

Yup, sure looks good. Makes sense to take the mould from the outside. I've ordered the Plastex, so that should keep me busy on Christmas day now that Boris has scuppered my traditional morning walk to a country pub for a pint or two.
