** Posting pictures - here is how **
I appreciate some struggle with this so . . . . . . . .
goto http://tinypic.com/
1 - "choose file" and browse to the image you wish to upload from your PC
2 - In the "resize" drop down choose either 15" or 17" screen (15 is enough and fast too)
3 - Press "upload now" where it will ask you to type in a couple of words to confirm you are a human being and not an automated program.
4 - Once done copy the text from the "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" field
5 - Then just paste it exactly as is in to your message.

I'm using photo bucket. Sometimes after resizing photos to well below the height limit it still says they're too high? It doesn't do it every time and i don't understand why.

Re: ** Posting pictures - here is how **
there is a limit on how big the image can be - i think its 2100 wide if i recall.
lets be honest making pictures that big and expecting someone to view on a slow connection aint cricket.
you can use the resize function offered by a few websites to bring to a loadable 1024x768 for forums

I resize them on photo bucket to below that limit but still says they are too tall. Other pictures work fine. Same camera. Same orientation etc. just seems a bit hit and miss to which it says are too tall.
Is there a limit to how many photos on one post? Or the maximum height of the combined photos? If you look at the last post in my for sale thread you'll see some photos I've linked to rather than posted due to this problem.

You may run into problems posting a continuous stream of photos without any text between them.
It is much simpler to break the post up or post a few and then add a further post.

Will have to check this. Photos can't be portrait at all then?

Spat the dummy out when I tried Sun and last night.
Deleted the portrait orientated pic and the post loaded fine.
Try rotating the pic 90 degrees and folk will just have to cock their heads .
