Be a real shame to see this place go read-only - fingers crossed it doesn't

I'm still here, I pretty much just read only and rarely post but before the forum goes read only I want to thank Paul for all the effort he's put in over the years.
I joined in the mid '00's and I can honestly say if it wasn't for this forum I'd have sold my 400(s) long ago.
Thank you Paul ❤️❤️❤️

Same goes for me. I reckon I'd have given up with my NC35 without the help I've got from members of this forum and also the spares and parts that I've obtained through this site.

Just popped in to let the team know about an attempted theft and read this news.
I'm with MadMotoUK and others - I am embarrassed to say I've not been very active in the last few years, but the content and community here have always helped each other out and if I can do anything to help keep that alive, please let me know.

Can we use stricter authentication to prevent bots? Is this platform the right one? Reddit alternative etc?

Respect any decision made by CRM, but sad if this really is the end...

Forums are like libraries, no one uses them anymore.

You’ve lost me, do you not use forums anymore at all?

I mean, I understand what you mean. Facebook Groups took over the daily banter and the simply Q&A dialogue, but forums are better at the end of the day. Facebook has become a cesspool anyway, so I hope forums continue to stick around longer regardless.
