Engine out wiring
Hi all doing an engine swap in my gk76 gsxr400 got to the point of engine loose in the frame, my question is I can't see any plugs to remove engine part of the wiring loom such as ignition coil pick ups and alternator seems to be a number of wires for these under the starter motor with no obvious way of undoing them from the loom, it's a bit dark in the shed I am working in and is hard to trace anything back. Any help would be much appreciated thanks re Alistair

Re: Engine out wiring
This seems to be a Suzuki thing, you have to follow them up into the harness but they do disconnect. I went thru the same thing recently with a Kantana I parted out.

Re: Engine out wiring
Complete wiring loom stays in the frame, once disconnected drop the motor. :) No need to remove any part of the loom usually..
