GSXR400 fork spring length GK73a and 76a
Anyone know what length std springs are in the forks please?

262 mm minimum lenght according to the book for the 73a, that's the standard one not the sp, sp forks are 16mm shorter than the standard but I don't know the spring lenght, should be in the manual.

Thanks Chris, I measured the springs out of mine at 288mm. I think I will try some ktech Bandit 600 ones which are 295.

Found the answer 73a sp have a spring length of 290mm . I went with Ktech 295 35mm 8.5 springs as an upgrade and I think they work very well. Good for fast road/track work I'm hoping. Had to stick nearly 30mm through the top yoke to get the ride height back to normal.
