Suzuki GK71F Electrical Issue
Hi !
Experiencing a strange electrical issue. My battert died a couple of days ago...was not riding due to bad weather. So i used jump cables to kick it and it started ok. Charged the battery. Next day..i tried to crank it but it wont fire. Used jump cable again but still doesnt crank. Used voltmeter..here r the readings :-
Without Jump Cable and switched off : 10.5 volts
Without jump cables and switch of : 9.5 volts
During ignition : 9.3 volts
With Jump Cables and during ignition : Again 9.5 volts ??????
Though the source of jump cables shows 14.6 volts but as soon as i plug it in my bike it says 9.5 volts....????
If anyone can comment plz ?

Re: Suzuki GK71F Electrical Issue
Can you borrow a battery from somewhere, sounds like the battery is no good.
Do you have a charger that you can charge the battery on when removed from the bike, once charged it should be holding over 12volts.
