I meant 'at my pace- being not very fast anymore  '
I'm gonna see if I can get up Knockhill next year, never ridden it, but it looks ace. I like pembrey/smaller tracks. I remember watching James Haydon smash his R7 at Knockhill to pieces in practice many moons ago.
I want to build a 442cc motor with flatslides next year, as soon as I can source the bits, and try and sort out the high compression fork bump issue I have with my 73asp forks.
Good work with the SV wheel conversion though..

It's probably a mad option, but how about putting the smallest caliper you can on? I finf all bandit/gsxr rear calipers overkill.

I used a moped rear caliper (Puch grand prix) when I raced a Tigcraft. I also raced a Slick Bass ZXR400 with a beautiful Brembo Aprilia caliper, which sped up wheel changes loads.. The sliding twin piston caliper can be a real pain in the ass when's it's raining in the paddock.

Why do you want SP legs, for the extra adjustment? As long as your regular USD's have preload and rebound, you will be able to set them pretty close to how you want them.
I've had good Maxton forks in the past with only rebound adjustment. You change the oil to increase the compression, and adjust the preload/rebound to suit.
Are gk76a forks Showa? if they are they will be really good once serviced and set-up
