Rear Cushion Unit Bracket - 41762-17E00 - Bolt Torque?

Post by Hubbskiboy » Sat May 28, 2016 8:36 am

Hello all,
I'm in the process of getting the rear shock rebuilt at Brook Suspension, as it was a complete corroded mess (see photo).
While it's out, I'm going to get the Upper Aluminium Bracket that clamps on the frame vapour blasted.
But before I take it off, does anyone know what the torque levels should be on the highlighted bolts?
I can't find anything on this forum or in the 400 Bandit Manual.
Ta!

If you download the bandit manual from this site it has a standard torque listing for different bolt diameters and with different letter coding, think its in the front couple of pages should sort you out.

Ok, I've got the torque values off 'Donk'. Thanks Donk!!!!!
I finally found them in the GSF400 manual too.
They should be 48-72 Nm or 34.5-52 lb-ft.
Getting the old bolts out was an absolute nightmare.
I'm guessing they have never been removed since the bike was built because the original thread lock was still on the treads! :o
