my gsxr400sp custom painting by myself.
This is how I got my sp
First up for a change, the tank.
Then a blue base on bottom fairings.
After lots aof masking, came the black graphics.
More masking and then came the white graphic and after that some clear coat.
Then the top half of the side fairing got its blue and white together with a custom chrome gsxr sticker and then finished off with clear coat.
After tons of struggle to remove all 20 coats of paint, primer and clear coat I finally got to the bare plastic, put a coat of plastic primer, grey primer, blue base, black, white, silver lines and clear to finish off.
Then came the tailpiece, again, blue base, black and white with silver lines as well as custom gsxr sp sticker then covered with clear.
Will add some more pics as I go. Also with all of it together.

Well done, don't choke on them fumes, lol! What paint did you use? Water based or 1K? (I am no paint expert, just want to do mine soon).

Lol!! Thanks, trust me I use a proper respirator. I use a basecoat paint which would be a 1k paint and then top off with clear coat which is 2k. The clear coat brings out the shine from the basecoat and ofcourse gives it a glass like appearance.

Nice man, just make sure the paints hard, before you take it for a 100mph thrash, otherwise will be covered in marks and insects lol!
