Re: Lets try again!!
Hey,
Not had a lot of time recently (read money!) with christmas and all that crap but i`ve managed to finish the seat unit nearly. I utilised the standard front mouldings of a scrap seat unit i had and bonded them together, that was fun!
I like fibreglass work normaly but that job was a pain in the arse to be honest. I`m quite happy with the results so that only leaves the undertray and what/how to get that done.....
On another note the last of the ti has turned up for the caliper mounts/pins/bleed nipples etc etc
Will take some pics when i get the chance....

Re: Lets try again!!
Update;
Hey,
Seat unit nearly there now just final prepping/sanding left to do. What a bastard that undertray was, dont fancy making that up again i`ll tell ya!
As for the front i`m having a few problems with the R1 bodywork(the original gsxr bodywork is 4 inches wider!) as regards radiator clearance so i might end up with a mix of both yet.we`ll see....

Re: Lets try again!!
Hey as promised in an earlier post the differences between the standard and SP clutch covers.....
SP case first,
Look at the mounting hole near the oil filler cap.
Modified standard case,
Again look at the mounting hole near the filler, see the difference?
And a front view of my new case,
Not a lot done just recently been busy for a change.......

Look at the mounting hole to the right of the oil filler and you will see that the SP case is deeper plus the oil volume with the bigger case is 2900ml as opposed to the standard case at 2500ml. About time you started work on your 76 again and stopped messing with that Kwak of your`s Mars
