Re: Everyone's GSXR400
OK I been thinkin about this for some time now, to turn my GSX-R 400RR SP2 into a 09 Sete Gibernau Race Rep :D
Heres what were lookin at :
Sete Gibernau - 2009 Ducati GP9
Mine as it is now
Modified Image
Ya have to imagine being sat on the thing cranked right over 15,000rpm which would look the best ?
Should be easy enough to do, just cover it in vinyl and prob get it lacquered, sorted.
Question is, does the new graphics actually look better ?
There would be more decals to go on it, a Bridgestone on the hugger etc, the more I look at it the more racey it becomes.
Be nice to replace me decals with a sete rep and have a new look for 2009 to go with me stage 3 jet kit and rebuild kit when it comes.
Imagine tooling around on that before every MotoGP race at the weekend :D

Re: Everyone's GSXR400
Suppose I could add mine to the list:
I dont know much about the bike other than:
1) Iridium Plugs
2) "Max Torque Cans" (MTC) road legal exhaust
3) CDI unit isnt standard and is causing me problems!

Re: Everyone's GSXR400
Part of the reason why I like mine so much, it's not the usual GSXR colours....having said that though, there was another GK76A with the same colours (only with a black screen) on sale at the same time as mine.gsxr400 racer wrote:I like them all mate...Interesting to see not the same all the time
Plus who's gonna fuck with a guy with a pink stripe down the side of his bike

Re: Everyone's GSXR400
I thought it was a ZXR 400 at first as they do a livery very similar.
Also I remember a TZR125R as a kid that had same colours more or less.
I think it looks good mate :D

Re: Everyone's GSXR400
I know the ZXR you're thinking of, and yes, it's quite nice to be honest.
That makes my bike sound out of date (no offence)
