my gk73a befor it went belly up, finaly figered out how to get pics on :oops: (i am better with spanners then computers)
i think the throttle jammed officer

Thats a rather unique looking bike you got there, i dread to think how many hours it took the poor soul to mirror finish the frame, sub, wheels, forks etc.

Edit : Bet she spits and farts when you fire it up the first time after a good soakin' with those open k+n's on her!

thanks alex, ye took me 13 hours from what i can recall (i had the i pod on and kept blacking out) but i think it looks well to say it was scrap when i got it for the grand total of £200, then there was the paint, parts ect. ye it did some banging when i got it some were near running right then it went bang, so now am waiting for the new engine coming at the end of the month :roll:

I currently have a 73a sp single seat bike, however my daughter wants to go on the back. Do you have the old panels etc for yours, or was your bike an sp as well.

sorry john not got one mate but there was one on ebay about a week ago, some one braking there bike and they had listed the bits a few times so it might be worth trying there.

Knight quick question what polish did you use for the frame as im thinking of ripping mine to bits and polishing

hi mig i used green metal polishing block on the machine polisher then finished it off with autosol.
