73A SP wheels
Hi all. I'm after a spare set of wheels for my 73a SP. can anyone guide me as to which models use the same sizes etc that will swop over. 3.5 x 17 front, 4.5 x 17 rear.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: 73A SP wheels
HI again. I put ones from ebay that were advertised as 76a ones on my 73sp with no dramas. I got the impression that the seller was not exactly sure from which model they were from though....
I think from this era, as long as the speedo drive looks correct, and that the casting on the spokes matches yours, you are good to go.
After jumping off my modern 1000, onto the 400, you can really feel the gyroscopic fight on the 400, fighting the bike through places like Jim Clark esses at Croft. I think it is wheel weight and the really heavy crank turning at 13000rpm!
Maybe you could try fit a later GSXR front wheel, and save 1/2 kg, as iirc you were tracking the bike??
