A question of model

I can't read Jap but would they have carried the graphics on from 1991, as I'm led to believe mine is a 1992?

Bike in question is bottom left with the zig zag stripe.

Apologies if this is a daft question :scare:

Hi

Just bought a gsxr 400, and was looking for a bit of help identifying the model, the links above have been really helpfull but mine seems a little different. Mine looks to be a 1991 SPII, the paintwork is exactly the same but it does not have a black number board on the rear seat, it has a white number board.

The frame number is GK76R 104210

If it is the SP what is the difference, from the spec sheet on the above links it seems as though it is only the wheelbase.

Any help anyone can give would be greatfully received

Thanks

bren

looking at "The frame number is GK76R 104210" falls into;

GSXR400 RFNM (SP) GK76A-103120

I have a GK76a SP on a G plate (1990).

From what I can tell it has a closer ratio gearbox, TPS (throtle position sensor), larger carbs, rear shock is adjustable and a different single plug CDI.
