Hello Bart, up to 6.5k it runs well throughout the gears, about 65mph in top, if you try & push it more it starts to hold back , I can just about get it to 10k but it don't like it & then will stall & hold back for a while, as if its used up its quota of fuel & is taking time to replenish.. Its better than it was with the blowing exhaust. I,ve got another set of carbs I can try, & another fuel tap, going to try these next before trying stick coils, was going to compression. Test it but I,ll have to buy a tester

hellow!!! bartman here!just got a 2003 636 kawasaki just got my youth back! this bike is awsome! for a 636cc blade killer,good for 170 mph plus! mind i am 60 years of age,,rock n roll!!!!!

Hadn,t realised the loose pipesflapping about coming from the top of carbs were breathers & had blocked them off. Now I,ve unblocked them the bikes running quite good, still think there's a bit of a problem as its not as responsive as I,d imagined a sports 400 to be,
