Greetings from sunny South Africa! I am an avid petrol head and inherited a 1WG FZR 400 from my father as a non-runner and got it up to speed and running.
Looking for tips and advice.

Hi hello Dylan Im new here my self acquired an nc30, cant give you much advice on the FZR apart from enjoy,
my bikes in a couple of different parts, carbs need to be put back after a rebuild, replaced all seals on water cooling system, brakes need doing and suspension ill get there my pot some heating in my shed not to warm out there,
it seems a bit lonely on hear dont know about you but i havent had any welcomes from anyone

You're right about it being a bit lonely on here sometimes. I've been around since 2013ish and there has been a very noticeable decline in people using this forum, which is a shame. I think it's a combination of people drifting to Facebook and the population of 400cc bikes becoming fewer, after all there's a finite number of them left running so sooner or later they'll all die, or be forever consigned to museums . There are still a few knowledgeable people around though, including one or two who know just about everything there is to know about the FZR. So stick with and try to be a little patient and you should get any help you need
