Re: been trying to post 2 weeks
I did notice a post you put up saying hello to someone else but didn't actually notice that you hadn't been replied to yourself so.
Hello and welcome and nah we won't tell you to sling yer hook unless your an arse and i cannot ever remember anyone being told to get lost so you'll be reet. The vfr side of the forum is the busiest on this site so you should get a quicker reply than the other models on here.
Hope you got the carbs sorted. There are a few guides on the home page

Didn't the Scottish person - WHO WAS A NIGHTMARE get told to go - for a while was the most annoying person south of the north pole....cbr400rrn wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 8:49 pmI did notice a post you put up saying hello to someone else but didn't actually notice that you hadn't been replied to yourself so.

I don't remember that, who was it? I'm on here most nights and don't remember anyone being told to leave the forumSuzuki416 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 08, 2021 11:24 amDidn't the Scottish person - WHO WAS A NIGHTMARE get told to go - for a while was the most annoying person south of the north pole....cbr400rrn wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 8:49 pmI did notice a post you put up saying hello to someone else but didn't actually notice that you hadn't been replied to yourself so.

Xlivia, i don't remember him being told to sling his hook. He did have a few problems and didn't quite listen to solutions when they were given and a couple of people got fed up of this but the forum never told him to leave and never banned him. he brightened up the forum was my take on it.

You can still read Xlivia's posts in the Classic Archives section. Yes I agree, he was quite entertaining. He left before my time I think but I've read some of his stuff. Wonder what he's doing now?

Re: been trying to post 2 weeks
lol - don't care.. it was only entertaining for a very short while then became immensely annoying when he just wouldn't listen or take advice... However he was the only one I could potentially think of that deserved getting removed. I am glad to hear that he wasn't - although wouldn't have been surprised..

Re: been trying to post 2 weeks
Thank you to you all,ill try not to get kicked
yes got the carbs sorted but didn't really see how she went,
when i got them back on i let her warm up and cooling system seems to work fine fan kicks in just over 90 on temp gauge and it goes off was on idle with the odd rev didn't thrash it, but it seemed to be a little noisy
so being a glutton for punishment i took carbs off again and checked shims glad i did as a few needed replacing,
now most things are back on apart from fuel tank plus had problems with fuel tap but nearly there,
cant wait to see how the engine sounds soon i hope nearly there,
Wheehhy
thank you glad to join you all
