3EN1 Main Relay Clicking - Bike Won't Fire Up

On a short ride the other day the bike just died on the road. Pulled over and when ignition turned on I get a rapid clicking from the main relay.
I found this video describing it exactly but no clues as to root cause or fix:

Battery is 100% charged and is holding charge. All lights work fine. Starter motor turns over fine but bike will not start. No fuel pump or exup sounds either. If I disconnect the relay the exup does cycle.

I replaced the main relay with a new one but sadly that did not fix anything. Same rapid clicking.

Any ideas are most welcome!

I would venture a guess that it's a bad earth or a bad connection on the starter switch, the relay base or a joint in the loom. Either way, the relay is not getting a constant trigger signal but rather a pulsed one.

Problem solved! It was the connection to the fuel pump. Once I cleaned up the terminals inside the snap connector all was good again.
