Yes-that too, my main battle is being certain the stem, forks, and clamps will bolt on without any more time and money spent on machining. If thats the case I will work out the other problems later. Give me a run down on what you think.

When I was looking for a Kawasaki front end for my er650, the best deals were from the states, as they sell everything from the front end, they don't tend to strip and sell each part individually like the UK breakers.
I know a few lads in uk building supertwins that used a bloke from the states, and even with postage, worked out cheaper than buying locally.
Worth a look.
I'm possibly looking at a modern Yamaha USD front end for my FZR400 Thundercat trackbike, and will probably just go to ebay in the states to look for one.

Not sure ... usa models have different names to the UK market and I think the foxeye was a yzf over there.

No need to worry anymore lads, just bought a set of 41mm 400 forks off some dude in the UK, big relief and end to my 5 month search. Greatly appreciate the responses I got and am surprised this forum has this much life in it.
