Yep.

Still a few jobs to sort that the seller was too lazy to finish, but only a little bit of tinkering ;-)

Hardest bit was sourcing a swingarm chain slider for it, but I've got that now.
Few fairing brackets to make and a clock bracket, and good to go.

Got a spare front wheel, but I think someone has hidden all the 3tj rear wheels with the titanic.

Well, finally dragged her out to go through the bike and sort ready for Cadwell.

Took the bodywork off, tank, and found several electrical components need fixing into position to stop them falling around. Not too big a job. Had a look at the airbox fixing and what's been done to it. Basically it's a 3tj with the top opened up and the Base of it loosely cut to fit the tcat carbs and some thin sticky foam to help seal it. There was a tcat airbox and a 3tj airbox in the spares kit so I've had a go at making it a better job. Spent a few hours cutting and dremmeling the tcat base out, matching and opening up the trumpet holes so it fits inside the 3tj airbox and now it's properly snug and with a little sikkaflex or similar, should seal up and make an airtight box. Carbs were stripped and checked. There is lots and lots of crap in them so a damn good cleaning is needed. Jetting is I presume standard tcat. 155 and 38. 1 & 4 needles are same and 2 & 3 are same, again presume standard. I have the I. D. written down but can't remember off top of my head .

So, productive day, but lots to do stillImage

Well,I can bend my knee far enough to get on the 3tj with its rearsets on it, so all seems good for the CBT. Don't know if I'm still in TROUSER FIREWORKS or moved to nobbers but I will just be glad to get out.

Had it, and the other 2 x 400/600s on our home made dyno on Saturday and glad I did. Really rich at the top end, and after a little fettling, it runs pretty nice now. Hoping it stays the same in real terms, with a bigger airflow while out on track.
