Re: BDK airbox
Bdk give a carb setup on their site I think. Altough the ram effect is small at slower speeds the extra capacity in the airbox is an advantage over standard

Re: BDK airbox
I build it in definitely and it will be adjusted on the dynojet.
Die question was more directed to go, where do I have particular attention, if I install the air box, because i think, the advantage is not very large:
- absoltue tightness
- exactly crossings for the flow of air
- or what else has to be observed
THX

Re: BDK airbox
As far as I have read on the subject, we speak, in the best case, of 10 mbar additional pressure at 80 mph and perhaps 20 mbar at top speed 130 mph. based on app. 60 - 70 bhb, this is about 1.5 bhb (best 2bhb) extra at topspeed.
means for me, the RAM air effect is very less, but it is important to get fresh cold "quiet" air to the carbs.
maybe this results in diffrent focus for mounting ???
any ideas???
