Can you get custom downpipes for exup exhaust
My exhaust (3EN1) has nearly had it, downpipes are rusty and thin. Any second hand replacement probably want last much longer given the age of them.
I'm looking for someone who can make up replacement downpipes in stainless steel so I can get them welded onto the original exup collector box.
Has anyone had this done or can recommend someone who might be able to do it. I'm in Hampshire but will consider anywhere that is in the UK.
I have contacted Sandy Bike Spares but they can't help because their pipes are designed just for their system without the exup.
Cheers

Try looking something like a classic bike mag. Or you could try Predator, they're based in Stevenage and do a 600 3he system which is close to your 400. They're made in house too, they'll need your bike to work from.

Thanks for the replies (if I had posted it in the right section it would have helped )
Predator do exactly what I want for the FZR1000 so that's looking very promising.

Sent them a message so I'll post back.

Re: Can you get custom downpipes for exup exhaust
Just a quick update. The bloke I need to speak to at Predator is away until the middle of next week.
I will call him when he is back but they seemed confident it was something they could do.
I'll let you know the outcome.

By Jove, I wouldn't like to be paying that price.
You can buy a fully operational FZR 1000 motorcycle for that sort of money.

Remember its just new downpipes jointed to the remains of your old system.
Most valves and bushes require work and also the stub for the link pipe gets frail.
I have yet to see decent quality stainless exhausts offered as aftermarket excepting Akrapovic and Vance and Hines.
Sure, they look the part when new..........6 mths later and you've got the wire brush out.

I think it does have the rear pipe too.
