Cheap spray job
Hi i bought a 3tj1 as a project but ive got it on the road taxed and mot i want to spray it black on the cheap until i can save pennys and get the red and white colour scheme any tips ?

Satin black rattle cans, dead easy to get a decent finish on the cheap

Sand it all down prime then rattle can it its in with a surgeon who is cleaning the carbs and balancing them also looking over everything for me when shes running smooth ill get the rattle cans out :$

For the amount of time and money you might as well look out for a set of panels the only difficult one will be the top fairing, bear in mind if you change the colour of the bike you need to change the V5, but the kit from Kayla would be good way to go, maybe the wrong time for you though.
If you you use rattle cans I'd recomend you finish it with 2k or cellulose laquer, acrylic paint melts if you spill petrol on it and although you can pertol resistant stuff it's still not 100%. Trouble is you'll need a proper mask, they come in about £35. Use genuine Yamaha "YAMAHA" logos the ones on the net tend to use a different typeface

Its black on the v5 i was wondering which colour scheme it was originally
