R6 /R1 body kit

Post by spannerman » Fri Oct 03, 2008 6:50 pm

i have been busy in the garage with the fife glass grafting an r6/1 top fairing to the fzr fairing bottom when i can work out how to post pics i will show you all also i have fitted the seat unit an made a jig to build subframs so its a straight bolt on
it looks far better than just retro fitting a r6 fairing that just dont fit right

watch this space :lol: :lol: 8-)

Sounds interesting, its nice to see that some people are trying something new.

If you open an account with a picture hosting website like this...

http://photobucket.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

then all you have to do is upload your photos onto the hosting website, copy the "Image code" and paste that in your post. Then your handywork can be seen by all :)
I only please one person per day.
Today is not your day, tomorrow isn't looking good either.

Hey nice work Spannerman!

particularly liking the tail section, looks completely standard and very cool.

will be interesting to see the front fairing once it's all sprayed up to match the lowers and with the lights fitted.

i want to do it the other way around fit an r6 race belly pan to the fairing sides if i can find some not too expensive ones! looks good though! think it'd be good on the 3tj race bike im building up! if you make up the sides aswell are you going to make a sealed bellypan?

Taggy - why not have a look at the FZR600R belly pan there's more chance it will fit that the R6
