Real Bargain of fairings. Will they fit?

Post by 0G0R3K-15 » Thu Jun 10, 2010 10:13 pm

Hi everyone. I found a eal bargain on ebay with fairings and not sure if they will fit my FZR400 Genesis 1986. Am mainly after the sides. I am sure I could fit that front one with little modification. I guess 750 and 400 are pretty much the same

Also found them

Not really, 1000 and 750 are bigger bikes physically

I used to say the 1986/87 FZ600 fairings would fit the Genesis but recently I've been told the 2TK (that's a later version) is different.
However .... they would probably be a better fit than the 1000 or 750 fairings

These are purple .... you might think about waiting for some in the original paint so you won't need to respray them. I don't know how often they come up though.

Well If u could send some pictures of that nosecone (one u would sell) that would be great. If sides are not cracked badly I could fix it myself with some fiberglass

Plastex or plastech is better than using fibreglass to repair fairings .... easy to use too.
