2tk fairings resprayed

well were getting there now, just got them back from the painters, theyre in a pearl white with a lovely hint of blue which comes out in the sunshine, need to get the decals now then I,ll start putting it back together. It took about 5 hours just to glassfibre the top of the seat cowl & prep it for spraying but its worth it now. The fairings were partially stripped of about 5 layers of paint but it still took me a good day to get them decent enough for spraying. They arnt perfect by any means but still look good from a couple of feet away lol.

looking good m8 mine still at the painters still havnt got a nose cone yet could do with some measurements of the seat cowl so i can get mine raised back up to the correct height

Got those decals ordered off Pip at reservoir bikes, looking forward to fitting them. will measure the seat unit from front & back top to bottom.

That looks like a nice colour :) Where did you get them done? My TRX needs to be done and that looks like a good match for the pearl white that's on it now.

kayla was a mate at a car spray place in cramlington, cost me £120 inc paint,(that includes laquering 2 bike wheels too) was going to be cheaper but the price of the paint he put on put the price up. Its a typical car spray job mind as in not minty perfect (but still good) but it would have cost me just as much if I done it meself & I wouldnt be able to get the petrol resistant finish either.

The panels look great in the flesh, pics dont show them up properly.

ooopes, no not yours, actually with them blue spots it will look remarkably like mine minus the can!
