Don't get me wrong, its not my cup of tea (i quite like powdercoat mat black for metal work :D ).

Still each to thier own, and regardless of taste or lack there of, its still an acheivement! That bike is mint when he's through with it.

well you're right he did a great job. however at the beginning of the video he said it would cost a lot to put it back to it's original form so he went with.. that! I'm not sure all that chrome and R1 rear end and what not was cheaper than buying some fairings off ebay, giving them a paint job and giving the bike a good clean. to me it looks as if the bike needed a good cleaning a lot more than chromed s***!

I think your probably right, he did seem to get a little carried away with it didn't he!

Still, can't say i'm not guilty of the same from time to time - I just fitted hagon fork springs to my ride and i've already caught myself eyeing up '06 R6 front ends on ebay america

Wouldn't be so bad but i'm flat broke at the moment!

Mint! - Anyone who puts time and effort into something like this, deserves respect. It doesn't matter who else likes it, as long as it's what you wanted in the end. I've sweated blood and tears over some right project turds but I've loved them because they were my creation. Top bike! we should be encouraging people to pick up the grinder and go for it no matter what! It beats a load of off-the-shelf bolt-ons any day. And best of all, whatever it is, it's not standard!
